-Extremely rare ensemble from Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren's second collection, "Savages", showcased during the  spring summer 1982 season. The outfit comprises of three (3) separate pieces. 

- (1) Leather cap with face overlay in tan. Lined and labeled  with brown World's End tag. Made in London.

- (1) White cotton tunic with asymmetric back opening, stacked turtle neck, and sleeve cuffs. Has striped detailing on the back and on the sleeves. Labeled, made in England.

-(1) Dakota art print, cotton culottes with wide legs. Labeled, made in England.

-Overall best fitting size S/M but please see approximate measurements below. 

-The "Savages" collection was considered revolutionary at the time of its debut for its juxtaposition of Native American motifs and urban youth culture. McLaren was directly inspired by the artwork of the Dakota and employed patterns unique to the tribe in tunics, dresses, and  culottes as we see here.

Condition

-Please note ensemble is 40 years old and does show signs of wear. The suede cap shows the most. Otherwise in great condition. The cotton is a sturdy and there are no holes in either the tunic or the culottes.
